“THE AWAKENING”:  EPISODE III

Jenna touched her soft lips against his.  The warmth of his mouth made her quiver with anticipation.  She sat back against the rocks.  The reflection of the moon on the water cast a silvery haze over the riverbank.  The outline of Seth against the heavenly light took her breath.  She wanted him inside her, but the guilt was already building.  He could see it in her eyes.  For a moment, he stood in front of her, thinking of how it would be.  He knew this may be the last time he would ever see her in this position.  It was a first and last time to feel the warmth of her body.

Seth couldn’t continue.  He reached down and kissed her, then sat her up.  She looked up at him with wanting eyes.

“What is it.  Is something wrong?” She asked.  Her breast straddled him.  She took him in her hand and she place her mouth on him.  For a moment, he lost his conviction.  He pulled back and chuckled to himself.  He shook off the urge to lay her back and push deep inside her.

“Nothing is wrong, just the opposite.  Everything is great.  You are more than I have ever dreamed.”  He hesitated as he thought of how to explain his thoughts.

“I don’t want you to have any regrets.  When I take you, I want it to be forever.”

She extended her body and kissed him with appreciation.  Her hand felt the features of his face as if her mind was absorbing every contour.  He allowed her to place her finger on his lips and he gently bit the ends of her fingers and massaged them with his tongue.

“MMMM.  I do love that.  Oh, my God.”  She whispered softly.  He reached his arms under her legs and lifted her.  Her lungs filled with air, as her legs spread wide.  No one had ever manhandled her in this manner.  She felt so vulnerable.  Her body quivered, because she was completely opened and exposed.   Jenna’s mind swirled as the thought of him sliding inside made her body ache.

He turned and sat down on the rock without entering her but pushed across her wet opening.  She dug her nails into his back as his full length pressed upward and stopped above her naval.   His mouth explored her body.  He reached around the contours of her back.  His fingers went through her hair, and he clinched his fist.  He pulled back, Jenna’s mouth came open and she placed her neck down on his mouth.

“Damn you.”  Jenna said laughing.  “You are going to make me beg aren’t you.”

“You will never have to beg me for anything that is yours for the taking.”

She imagined herself arching her body and thrusting down on him, until it would not go any further.  Her eyes closed as she started to raise in the air, but her heart would not let her do it.  She dropped her head onto his shoulder.

“I am sorry.”  She said as the life went out of her body.

“Don’t be Jenna.  I hope this is just a start.”

“I don’t know where my life goes from here Seth.  If I have my way, Chris will come back and we can work things out.”

He lowered his head.  Slowly, he kissed her, taking in the last moments he may ever spend with her.

“I want nothing more than for you to be happy. I am going on vacation in two days.  If things don’t work out, I want you to go with me.”

Jenna laughed.  “You don’t even know me, and you want me to go away with you?”

He looked down at his body and was still very hard.  “Well, I can say that parts of me want to get to know you a lot better.  I do feel like I know you.  It’s almost like I have known you forever.  I can’t explain it.”

“I understand, I feel the same way.” Jenna agreed.

They sat in the moon light at the water’s edge and talked about the love of their lives, their disappointments and their achievements.  By the time the night was over, they had laughed and cried many times.  He walked to her car and made sure that she was safe.

“Jenna, I don’t know where we go from here.  I know you don’t believe in love at first sight, but I do.  All I’m asking is give me a chance to get to know you.  If you go with me, there will be no promises, just enjoyment.”

She raised her eyes knowing she would never call or go with him.  As she drove away, a tear ran down her cheek.  Jenna knew Chris would never be happy with her, but she married for better or worse.  Till death do us part wasn’t just empty promises.  To her, it meant everything.

“The Surprise”

Jenna woke with someone at the door.  She glanced at the bedroom clock.  The afternoon sun beamed through the window.  It was 1:00 in the afternoon.  The doorbell rang once more.

“OK, ok…I’m coming.”  She said loudly.  The robe closed simultaneously with the door opening.

“Can I help you.”  She asked.  The man was dressed in brown shorts and shirt.  She realized he worked for FedEx.

“Yes, no, yes” he said.  He couldn’t get his eyes off her cleavage which screamed at him from the top of the robe. “I am sorry.  Yes, I have a package for you.  Can you sign right here please?”

Jenna’s curiosity was peaked.  She hadn’t received a package in years.  The young man took a step back and his eyes never left her until the door closed.  It didn’t matter, because her attention was consumed with the package.  She slowly opened the box and looked inside.  There was a card, a rose and an airline ticket.

She gently smelled the single yellow rose, and her memory took her back to the rocks.  The edges of her mouth turned upward, and her eyes closed as she thought about the night before.  The destination on the ticket was to Acapulco, Mexico.  Her eyebrows raised.  Jenna opened the note and held the rose in her hand as she read.

   Jenna,

I can smell the scent of the fire on my clothes.  I probably won’t ever be able to sit around a campfire again without revisiting our time together.  I don’t want to push you into something, but I want you to know that I am very serious about my offer.

Please don’t say yes or no, just let your heart make the decision.  Either way, I will be happy knowing that you have resolved things in your mind.  I wish you a life of happiness and love.

    With all my heart.

    Seth

Jenna had already made up her mind.  She went to her bedroom and placed the ticket and letter in her chest of drawers.  She sat down by the picture of her and Chris, taken at their wedding.

“How could things have gone so wrong?”  She closed her eyes and imagined her husband as he used to be.  Jenna could barely remember him.  The person she was with now, was not the person she married.

She lay her head on a pillow and placed the picture on her chest.  Jenna thought about her wedding day.  Chris had saved every dime he earned for two years to pay for their honeymoon.  He had gotten on his knees, in front of everyone at the Alabama game and asked her to marry him.

“God, I would have married that man, if we had to live in a tent on the creek.”  She said out loud.

“Thank God we didn’t.”  A voice sounded from inside the bedroom.

The sound startled her, and she jumped to a sitting position.  Chris was standing two feet away from her.  She let the picture drop to the bed and ran to him and jumped into his arms.

“Oh, my God, Oh my God, you’re home.”  Tears ran down her face, as he held her tight.

“I came home early, just to be with you.”  Anger was still fresh in his mind over Angelica.  He knew the words were a lie.  Jenna didn’t care whether the words were fake, she was just happy he was home.

“Are you hungry, can I make you something to eat?”  Jenna asked.

“Yes, that would be great.”  He said.  She couldn't help but notice his belly that extended  three inches past his belt, but it was all part of the life they had made.

Jenna prepared an outrageous meal.  She spared no expense and bought Chris a bottle of twenty-year-old Scotch to drink after dinner.

They sat beside each other at the table, silently.  She tried several times to carry on a conversation.  Each time, Chris responded with one-word answers.

After dinner, he sat with the drink in his favorite chair.  Jenna sat across from him and began to daydream.  For a moment, her mind drifted to the night before.

“Hey, put us on one of those Walking Dead season one movies.”  Chris said.   Jenna didn’t respond.

“Can’t you fucking hear.  I asked you to put on a Walking Dead DVD.  Are you deaf.”

    Jenna just stared at him.

“This is going to be my life.  I signed up for it.  Might as well make the best of it.”  She said to herself.

She stood up and walked across the room, a foot from where he was sitting and did as he asked.  The show started.  Jenna walked over to his chair and sat down on the floor in front of him.  Her hands massaged his leg as he watched his favorite movie.  She knew he hated to be aggravated when the show was playing.

The movie ended and Chris finished his fourth drink of Scotch.  Jenna stood in front of him in her small night gown.  The top didn’t cover her large breast.   Instead, it teasingly showed her belly just below.  She allowed it to fall in the floor.  He saw that she was completely naked.  His eyes checked out every line of her body as he compared her to Angelica.

“Her breast ain't as perky as hers.  Angelica never shaved her hair.  There was always enough there to tease me, "Chris thought in his mind.

Jenna climbed on top of him and placed both knees on each side of his legs.  She kissed him softly.

“I am all yours baby.”  Her lips gently kissed his.  He pushed her shoulders down and her knees slide off the chair.  She kneeled on the floor.  Her tongue licked her lips knowing what he wanted.  She unbuckled his pants and, in a moment, he was completely naked.

Jenna touched him exactly the way he liked.  He would always brag to his friends about how well she could satisfy him orally.  Most of them fantasized about her and would have gladly taken care of Jenna, if they had been given an opportunity.

“Chris, thank you for coming home early.  I really.”  She stopped talking when he forced her head down on to him.

She took a deep breath and closed her eyes.  “BE CALM.” She thought to herself.

He was still soft and small enough to make it difficult to keep it in her mouth.  Jenna rubbed on him and touched the places that he loved, but there was nothing.   Her hands worked back and forth while her mouth took all of him.  There was just no excitement.

The frustration on Chris’s face told the whole story and the alcohol gave him the courage to let it out.

“That’s why I didn’t want to come back.”  Jenna stopped.  It felt as if he punched her in the stomach.

“I can’t even get a decent fucking blow job after twenty years.  You would think that you could at least learned how to suck my dick.  Look at you.  Nothing about you turns me on.”

Jenna was crushed.  She sat there on her knees looking at him in shock.  Anger rose inside her, tears were pouring down her face.

“Fuck you Chris, you little dick son of a bitch.  I’m sick of you.  If you don’t want to be with me, then go back to your whore.   Be sure and tell everyone else what their dick tastes like.”

Jenna was shocked by the words that came from her mouth.  Chris had never heard a curse word from her.    She had barely finished her last sentence when his hand impacted her face.  The blow was enough to spin her around and put her naked body on the carpet.   Her face had the red imprint of his hand.  She was nearly unconscious, but the tears were no longer there.   He stood up and walked into the bathroom without saying a word.

Her naked body laid in that position for thirty minutes.  Chris never came back and checked on her.  He went into the spare bedroom, locked the door and didn’t come out.

She walked into her the bedroom and kneeled by the bed.  “God, please bless my husband.  He is a good man that has lost his way.  If it is your will that I stay, please  help me stand by him.  Lord, please just have your way in my life.”

“The Airport”

Seth took a shuttle to the Birmingham Airport.  He knew that Jenna would not show.  People like the two of them make lifetime commitments.  Unfortunately, his commitment had been cut short.  He looked into the morning sky and was amazed to still see the North Star.  The night he had met Jenna, the star seemed to be floating in the sky above her, watching over the blanket where she laid.

He still couldn’t help but to look around for her.  He stood in line at security for nearly thirty minutes.  He looked at every person twice.  He had only seen her in and out of a bathing suit.  Seth laughed.

“If she shows, I may have to ask her to undress to recognize her.”  The thought of her made him happy, but Jenna was not there.

The third boarding call sounded, and she had still not made it.  Seth went to the gate and handed the ticket to the attendant.  He slowly walked to the plane down the ramp. He looked back every ten steps.  The woman at the door tried to rush him on board.   He glanced back, then lowered his head to miss the door facing.

A sadness was within him that he could not explain.  He had a sixth sense that never failed him.  Somehow, it kept telling him that she was going to be with him.

He walked down the aisle and looked at the three empty seats on his left.  Seth placed his bag above the seat and sat down.

He sat there watching out the window as the huge plane took off.  On the other side of the runway, a woman waved frantically at the plane.  He jumped up on his knees trying to make her see him, but he couldn’t tell if it was possible.

“Sir, you have to sit down.  Sir.”

    “I’m sorry, I’m sitting.”

Seth sat down in his seat contemplating what to do.  He wanted to jump up and try to open the door, but he knew it may get him thrown in jail.  The airport was soon out of site.  The attendant was coming down the aisle on the other side of the plane.

“Sir, excuse me.  You are in the wrong seat, 32f is on this side of the plane.”

    He looked totally confused.

“Yes, I am talking to you,” she said.

Seth stood up quickly, took his bag out of the top and walked across the aisle.  The attendant opened the door to the luggage compartment, and he placed his bag into the bin.

“Thank you, sir.” The attendant said as she closed the door.

Seth looked down at his empty seat.  Beside it was a beautiful blonde with a very pretty smile.

“I was beginning to think I was stood up.”  Jenna said.

He was in shock.  Seth jumped on top of her and kissed her wildly.  The laughter from her and the people around them filled the plane.  Seth sat down and could not take the smile off of his face.

“Are you sure about this.”  He asked.

Jenna’s blue eyes sparkled and a smile came up on her face.

“I am pretty sure.  When I went to sleep last night, I asked God for a sign.  At four o’clock this morning, I woke up to something sticking me.  I looked in the bed and it was the rose you gave me.”

    Both of their eyes brightened.

“I am more confused about where I am going than at any time in my life.”  She said.

“What I do know is, where ever this road takes me, I will decide the path I take to get there.”

Seth kissed her softly and took her by the hand.

Jenna smiled because she knew that she had experienced an "Awakening" and this was just the first of many.
